Defense ministry inspects administrative reform in Military Region 4

A mission of the Steering Committee for Administrative Reform of the Ministry of National Defense paid inspection visits to the Military Region 4 Command and the Nghe An Provincial Military Command on November 8.

Reportedly, the Military Region 4 Command issued the administrative reform program for the 2016-2020 period and a concrete plan for 2019. The program aims to set up steering boards at all levels in order to improve the leadership’s responsibilities in performing their work.

Meanwhile, the Military Region 4 Command ordered the Provincial Military Commands of Ha Tinh and Quang Binh to be models that other units in the region can follow. Also, the region’s chains-of-command regularly inspected units on both administrative reform and task performance to quickly identify and overcome drawbacks.

In order to perform the work well, the military region sent 80 personnel to a refresher course on administrative reform launched by the Ministry of National Defense. The military region also issued appropriate steps to support the locals in doing administrative procedures.
