Naval troops rescue trawler at sea

The Naval Region 4 Command successfully saved a trawler in trouble at sea and towed it ashore on January 28.

Earlier, on January 27, trawler BD98103-TS, captained by Nguyen Huu Chau, born in 1990, from Hoai Huong ward, Hoai Nhon town, Binh Dinh province, with four crew-members had an engine failure while operating at the Southeast of Binh Hung island, Cam Ranh city, Khanh Hoa province. It sent mayday signal at 21:00 on the same day

Once receiving the information, Ship 405 of the Naval Region 4 Command rushed to the scene despite harsh weather conditions to implement a search and rescue mission.

After approaching the distressed trawler, Ship 405 towed the trawler ashore and handed over it to the Ca Na Border Guard checkpoint under Phuoc Diem Border Post of the Ninh Thuan provincial Border Guard Command at 17:15 on January 28.
